The Vineyard at Florence is the first residential winery in the state of Texas. The land plan takes full advantage of panoramic views, with particular attention to the natural ridgelines and vegetation of the land. Each parcel being developed takes into account the importance of preserving ancient oak and pecan trees, waterways, and natural foliage in order to maintain the innate beauty of the hill country. Lot sizes vary with parcels ranging from two to ten acre tracts. The Vineyard also has strict requirements so that homes will blend beautifully with the natural landscape.
Housing Design Requirements
Architectural design will be paramount at The Vineyard with an understated, Italian old world beauty. Homes built at the Vineyard will comply with community association regulations that ensure quality, beauty, tranquility and consideration of neighbors. Some building requirements include: old world Tuscan design, tile roofs and stone or stucco exteriors. There is also minimal lot line irrigation in order to preserve the natural beauty of the landscape.
Builders
All builders who meet criteria are welcome to build at The Vineyard at Florence. Builders must meet the regulations established in our Design Guidelines and Codes, Covenants and Restrictions. All builders and subcontractors, when appropriate, must be licensed. All buildings are subject to three inspections by one of inspectors approved by The Vineyard at Florence.
